Seeking Self Employed PA (POSTED 14.05.26)

I am seeking a kind, compassionate, patient and dedicated self employed Personal Assistant to help me provide support and assistance to my wife who has Alzheimers. My wife is a very agreeable kind, gentle and happy lady who enjoys and responds to nice people and has a good sense of humour. The preferred candidate would be a caring female with empathy, patience and compassion.
A preferred time would be between 10.00 to 13.00 hrs each day from Monday to Friday but the hours worked may be flexible and can be discussed and agreed. Also paid parking may be available if required.
The successful applicant will play an important and special role in delivering personalised care and support to maintain and hopefully improve my wife’s quality of life.

The successful candidate may or may not be involved in some of the following, but can be discussed and agreed;
• Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing and other tasks.
• On rare occasions, may support patients with medication administration and health monitoring but husband normally would do this.
• Engage clients in conversation to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living space
• Follow health and safety protocols including first aid procedures when needed
