Carer PA required (POSTED 17.4.26)

We are seeking a compassionate and organised Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to a female with daily living activities. This includes support with the cleanliness of the home, cooking meals, supporting with children and outings, amongst other activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience with ADHD, ASD, chronic illness, and other health conditions, with a strong focus on promoting independence and well-being.

Duties
• Assist client with personal care if required
• Support with medication administration
• Prepare nutritious meals
• Provide housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Drive to appointments, social activities, or errands as needed, ensuring safe transportation
• Support with driving child to school (mileage paid)
• Engage in behaviour management techniques to promote positive interactions and emotional well-being
• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance mental health and overall quality of life
• Administer first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies
Experience
• Prior experience in care-giving roles is highly desirable
• Knowledge of ASD and ADHD best practices is preferred
• Experience working with vulnerable populations, such as children or individuals with special needs, is advantageous
• A valid driving licence is essential for transportation duties
• Demonstrated ability to handle medication administration responsibly and accurately
• Proven skills in behaviour management and patient safety are essential

This is a self-employed position, meaning you are responsible for completing your own Self Assessment tax returns.
• Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service
• Must have a UTR number as self-employed

Pay:
£16.00 per hour for 6 hours
£16.50 per hour for the remaining 18 hours
