PA with own transport required – 10 Hours per Week (POSTED 04.09.25)

I am seeking a kind, reliable, and proactive Personal Assistant to support me (stroke survivor) living in Portsmouth with weekly and monthly activities that promote my independence, wellbeing, and social inclusion.

Support Required:
• Evenings (Mon–Sun): Assistance with dinner preparation (Zimbabwean meals)
• Tuesdays: Accompany to swimming sessions (local leisure centre)
• Wednesdays - Accompany to Seated Stroke exercises (local leisure centre)
• Thursdays: Support with grocery shopping and cup of tea at a café
• Sundays: Accompany to local church service (when family are unable to)
• Monthly: Transport and support to attend diabetic sessions

Hours:
> 10 hours per week

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be patient, encouraging, and comfortable supporting me with reduced mobility. Previous experience in care or supporting individuals with health conditions is desirable but not essential. A warm and respectful approach is key. The Personal Assistant will be required to drive me to local activities, so must have their own transport.

To be discussed and paid via Direct Payments
