PA required for mental and physical health support (POSTED 090226)

I am a 39-year-old female living in Southsea with my two children (ages 15 and 11). I have multiple chronic mental and physical health issues, and am under Adult Mental Health services, as well as a variety of other specialist health services.

Due to a decline in health, I have now deferred the final year of my studies in Winchester, completing a degree in counselling. I aim to return in September 2026. The degree is full-time, but I am only required to be in class 1-2 days a week. My final year also requires me to attend a placement 1 day a week. I don't need driving assistance for my commute to my course; however, it would be beneficial (not essential) to have a licence/car, to be available if needed.

I am looking for a kind individual who can undertake a supportive role in helping me manage my mental and physical health needs, alongside my studies and being a mum. An understanding of mental health and how mental and physical health issues can overlap would be very beneficial.

My functionality can vary day to day, which is something we can discuss in more detail.

I envisage the support I would require involving (but not limited to) the following:

Support with general life and medical admin; e.g. booking appointments, follow-up of referrals, contacting services as required.
Help with meeting basic needs on occasion e.g preparing a simple meal.
Mental health support when needed e.g company/support in getting out and about, attending appointments.
General light housework/cleaning.
Assistance with errands, e.g picking up prescriptions/light grocery shopping if needed.
