PA required for mental and physical health support – POSTED 20/10/2025

I am a 38 year old female living in Southsea with my two children (ages 14 and 11). I have multiple chronic mental and physical health issues, and am under Adult Mental Health services, as well as a variety of other specialist health services.

I am in my final year of studies in Winchester, completing a degree in counselling. The degree is full-time, and I am required to be in class 1-2 days a week (every Friday and some Saturdays). This academic year (25-26) also requires me to attend a placement one day a week on a Monday. I don't need driving assistance for my commute to my course but it would be beneficial for a car to be available for errands.

I am looking for a kind and caring individual who can undertake a supportive role in helping me manage my mental and physical health needs, alongside my studies and being a mum. An understanding of mental health and how mental and physical health issues can overlap would be very beneficial.

My functionality can vary day to day, which is something we can discuss in more detail.

I envisage the support I would require involving (but not limited to) the following:
Support with general life and medical admin
Help with meeting basic needs, such as eating properly
Mental health support (for example, support in getting out and about/out of bed)
General housework/cleaning jobs
Assistance with errands (for example, picking up prescriptions/light grocery shopping)
