PA needed for support (POSTED 29.8.25)

My son has recently moved into his first home in Northend. He is 19 years old, in full-time employment, and lives independently. He has autism, mental health challenges, and memory difficulties, and needs support from a PA.

Support Details:
• Hours Required: 5 hours per week
o 1.5 hours on Tuesday and Thursday evenings
o 2 hours on Sunday
o Exact times to be agreed between the PA and my son

Funded by: Direct Payment through Portsmouth City Council (PCC)

PA Responsibilities:
• Prompting personal hygiene and self-care
• Support to keep his home clean and tidy
• Provide reminders for weekly tasks
• Prompting with medication
• Assist with money management
• Support making appointments if needed.
• Help create shopping lists and accompany him if needed
• and appointments
• Encourage participation in positive activities and outings, accompany him if needed (within allotted time)
