PA for Tea Time and Waking Night (POSTED 14.5.25)

PA Required for Tea Time & Waking Night Shifts
Location: North End, Portsmouth

We are looking for a female carer to support a 42-year-old man with muscular dystrophy who lives in his family home. He requires assistance with daily living tasks and is supported by a small, friendly care team.

Shifts Available:
1. Monday: 6–8 pm
2. Tuesday: 6–8 pm
3. Wednesday: 10 pm–7 am (waking night)
4. Thursday: 6–8 pm
5. Friday: 6–8 pm
6. Saturday: 10 pm–7 am (waking night)
7. Sunday: 6–8 pm

Hourly Rate:
1. £13.57 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
1. Food preparation
2. Administering medication (from NOMAD system)
3. Personal care (wash/shower/bath) – always carried out with another carer present

Requirements:
1. Must drive or live locally to North End
2. Experience preferred but not essential – full training provided
3. Must be reliable, honest, trustworthy, outgoing, and punctual

You’ll be working in a supportive and welcoming environment as part of a team of three carers. After a successful interview, there will be a one-week trial/shadowing period to help you get a feel for the role and ensure a good fit for everyone involved.
